A new Boston Marathon jacket runs over $100.  Embroidering a new date on an old jacket: $12.  And, hey, if you’re going to be cheap, why not do it in a way that screams a little badass running street cred?

This certainly wasn’t going to be the year that I would have wanted to embroider my finishing time on this particular jacket.  But it did turn out to be one the most fun Boston Marathons I have run to date.

Slow? Yes. Hot? Yes, but not quite as bad as Chicago 2007.  Want to do it again? This very moment.
